Engineering Management Costing Consultants (EMCC) is a labour hire, project management and engineering services company that operates across Australia's mining and industrial sector.

They asked for a brand that would stand out in an industry 'full of old blokes’ and represent their team of young professionals. Rather than lean on the usual aesthetics associated with mining and engineering, the visual language was built around who EMCC is, rather than what they do. Courageous, disciplined, fresh and bold were traits channeled into a brand identity that would look like it acted.

The custom drawn logo is sharp and uniform in reflection of the skill and precision involved in their service delivery. The C from the logo reoccurs as a visual device with the bevelled edge lending itself to cropped compositions, framed imagery and flexible layouts.

Named after a mineral mined in Australia, Gaspeite green is used throughout as a highlight and identifier, reminiscent of onsite safety gear. Paired with obsidian black and chalk white it provides a punch that embodies the brand traits and stands out among the competition.
